THE ACQUISITION
Gayle and Mike Reuling, the visionary couple behind Air Salon & Blow Dry Bar, have cultivated a salon where talent and creativity thrive, prioritizing exceptional guest experiences. During this acquisition, their primary focus regarding EGGIE Salon Studio was to ensure that the continued care of their clients remains a top priority! We can assure you that it is an honor to serve the guests who have found a salon home at AIR over these last 10 years.
THE TEAM
Our mission at EGGIE is to create a vibrant atmosphere where fun meets growth, and where every individual thrives. We embrace a growth mindset, constantly seeking new opportunities for learning and improvement. At EGGIE, we are not just a team; we are a supportive family dedicated to uplifting and empowering each other and our clients every single day.
WHAT CAN I EXPECT THROUGH OUT THIS TRANSITION PERIOD?
During the first 60-90 days, anticipate minimal changes for a smooth transition. While you may see new faces from EGGIE, the ‘Air’ signage will remain unchanged. This period allows us to familiarize ourselves with the current team and clients, making behind-the-scenes adjustments before introducing noticeable changes aimed at enhancing your experience.
PERSONNEL: Owner (Rachel Eggie Gibbs), Manager (Mimi Sommers), Assistant Manager (Kate Douglas Greene), and a few stylists from EGGIE Salon Studio will join us at this location. This integration fosters connections between our teams, providing you with an opportunity to get to know us better.
INTERIOR: Following the transition phase, the salon will undergo a complete remodel to elevate your experience! Expect new amenities, upgraded equipment, and a revamped layout for maximum comfort.
HOURS: After the remodeling, anticipate adjusted hours to offer added client flexibility.
WILL I STILL HAVE “AIR STYLIS” (BLOWOUTS/SPECIAL OCCASIONS), STRAIGHTENING SERVICES, AND SMOOTHING TREATMENTS?
Of course! Our salon will continue to offer blowouts, straightening services, or smoothing treatments, and cater to special occasions. While some service names may change, we’ll maintain the availability of these services along with our full-service status!
HOW WILL PRICING STRUCTURE CHANGE?
There will be slight changes to our pricing, but rest assured, these adjustments demonstrate our commitment to delivering top-notch service and results. At EGGIE, we operate with an associate and level system, ensuring that we can accommodate clients with any hair budget.
We understand that changes can be scary or unwanted, but please know that every change is aimed at enhancing your visit and creating growth opportunities for our amazing team!
HOW WILL EXISTING APPOINTMENTS BE AFFECTED?
Your existing appointments will remain unchanged! If any adjustments are needed, we will notify you promptly, but rest assured, you will be taken care of!
WILL MY GIFT CARDS OR LOYALTY POINTS BE HONORED?
Gift cards will be seamlessly honored throughout the transition process. Once the new software is implemented, we will introduce the loyalty system at EGGIE. Your loyalty means the world to us, and we deeply appreciate your ongoing support.

In 2023 alone, we proudly donated over $10,000 worth of services, including wig fittings and post-chemo haircuts.
