THE ACQUISITION
EGGIE Salon Studio has recently acquired the hair salon Air Salon & Blow Dry Bar. After 12 years of serving the community, Gayle and Mike Reuling have decided to sell their Baton Rouge location. EGGIE will assume ownership of this space, and we are thrilled to now serve you in TWO LOCATIONS!

WHAT CAN I EXPECT THOUGH OUT THIS TRANSITION PERIOD?
During the first 60-90 days, the “Air” signage will remain unchanged while we spend time making behind-the-scenes adjustments before introducing noticeable changes to the space.
PERSONNEL: Rachel (Owner), Mimi (Salon Manager), and Kate Douglas (Assistant Manager), along with a couple of stylists from the Goodwood Location, will assist with integrating our culture into the new space. This integration fosters connections between both teams, providing them with a chance to get to know us better and to see how our EGGIE stylists work.
INTERIOR: Following the transition phase, the Perkins Location will undergo a complete remodel to elevate the guest experience and to reflect the EGGIE brand.
WHAT WILL HAPPEN WHILE THE SECOND LOCATION IS BEING RENOVATED?
Once renovations start, our current hair salon location will expand hours to accommodate the stylists from the AIR salon team that decide to remain with EGGIE. This will also allow them to get to know and work with the EGGIE team and clients while undergoing training.
If you see a new face, PLEASE welcome them into our salon family with open arms!
WHERE WILL MY STYLIST BE?
When the time comes for changes, we will strategically assign stylists based not only on their preferences but also on the location of their clientele. We understand the importance of honoring existing appointments, and we’ll communicate with you every step of the way to ensure minimal disruption to your scheduled visits.
WHEN CAN I BOOK AN APPOINTMENT AT THE PERKINS LOCATION?
As we expand EGGIE, ensuring consistency and excellence remains our primary focus across both locations. Rest assured, we are committed to maintaining the exceptional standards of service, meticulous attention to detail, and personalized care you’ve always received from us. GIVING BACK TO OUR COMMUNITY
At EGGIE Salon Studio, community support lies at the heart of everything we do, particularly for those battling cancer. In 2023 alone, we proudly donated over $10,000 worth of services, offering wig fittings and post-chemo haircuts to women facing cancer diagnoses. Our dedication shines through in partnerships with esteemed cancer centers like Mary Bird Perkins, as well as our newest collaboration with Ochsner, where we strive to alleviate financial burdens and empower patients to prioritize their well-being. Our warm and inclusive atmosphere ensures that every client feels embraced like family, leaving our studio not only feeling valued but also inspired.
